I'd love to win a copy of this moving story!
I've never been dispappointed with any of Elizabeth Buchan's novels and, from my first impression of this story, I'm sure this will be a satisfying and enjoyable read. I love stories told using a dual timeline and it's already clear that the switches between past and present will be handled with skill.
Whenever I see "everyday" items in a museum I immediately start to wonder about the secrets they hold so this thread in the story holds a particular appeal. I love the idea of the museum offering the possiblity of resolution and redemption for people.
I'm also attracted to this book because I like the fact that it will explore what life was like behind the Iron Curtain in the 1980s, and that it will have a poignant love story at its heart - I just hope I'll be fortunate enough to receive a copy!
