“Intrigued by the concept”

On page 9, the author uses the words “intrigued by the concept”, and that sits with my initial reaction to this exploration of grief and loss. Those feelings are expressed through history, anecdote and the assignation of those moments of pain on to inanimate objects.

The premise is enchanting and I can’t wait to see the way this story develops, splashed across 1980’s and present day Europe.
