The cover is intriguing and complex, which interested me in reading more. I like the different objects on the front, and the title was pretty mysterious too - what are these broken promises?
I wasn't keen on the first chapter, but once we got into the present day found the pace picked up a bit. I feel like I would struggle through some of it, but the storyline would be worth it
