The Museum of Broken Promises has captured my attention from the start. It follows Laure, a British woman living in Paris. Flitting back in her past to a lost-love that we are not aware of the details about, skimming over her failed marriage to a French man, and back to present day, where she is the owner and curator of a unique museum. The storyline so far is very intriguing ,as to where the author is taking us on the descriptive journey through Laure’s life, and how this mysterious museum fits in with her past and her future. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this intriguing novel.
