Laure is an Englishwoman living and working in Paris as the curator of the Museum of Broken Promises. This is an unusual museum in that its selection of exhibits detail the end of dreams for many of the donates such as the exhibit of baby clothes and footwear following the death of a baby in Italy. It is the starkness of the exhibits that cause a reaction amongst the visitors to the museum and this is partly its draw.
