I absolutely loved reading this book and I feel that it is one of those books that will stay with me for a long time. I loved the cover of this book, the colours and illustrations are beautiful and intriguing, which is what drew me to it in the first place, but the story absolutely lived up to my expectations as well. I found that the museum was really interesting even if certain aspects were quite heart wrenching.
It followed two timelines, Paris of today at the Museum of Broken Promises and Prague in 1985 during the Cold War. I really enjoyed following Laure's journey, and how her character changes throughout the book. I felt that this is a wonderfully written and captivating book. I would highly recommend this.
