There is already a mystery to be unfolded by the reader at the centre of the main character Laure's life in the opening pages of this book.
I love that this book is set in Paris and I find the theme of this book very interesting and potentially quite sad.
Every object in the museum has it's own story and it's own characters behind it. I hope this continues throughout the book.
I am interested in Laure's past and what brought her to the point of beginning this museum of broken promises. Was it hopelessness or hopefulness?
