I couldn’t finish this book - it was one that I was so excited to read because of its dual timelines and how they were set in various places across the globe. Although it isn’t a bad book, the writing style wasn’t for me and the pace was quite plodding so I didn’t force myself to continue reading.
I got to just over half way through And found myself skimming the pages because the story just wasn’t picking up for me and I didn’t relate or find the characters to be anymore than two dimensional. The premise of a museum of lost items and lost stories could’ve been pushed further and didn’t have a central part as much as I wished it to.
Although this book really wasn’t for me, I’m sure there are people out there who will enjoy it.
