Wouldn't say this book was disappointing, as I did enjoy, just ended up really not being for me. I struggled to get into it properly. So unfortunately I didnt end up finishing it. Not saying it will be the same for everyone, but that's just my personal taste.
Although what I did read was enjoyable. I felt it was written very well, especially how it painted a picture of the atmosphere and locations. Very in depth and made you feel like you were there too.
I'd say I think my favourite parts of this book was the little back stories, of all the items that were in the museum. You could feel the emotion radiating off each of the specific objects. The one that pulled the heartstrings most was the little boy with his match box!
