Firstly the cover is one of the nicest I’ve seen this year and I must admit this is what made me pick the book up . I’ve read others by this author and enjoyed so I sort of knew what to expect from the style of writing . The book is basically a love story which begins in the Cold War period and takes us to Germany , Prague and modern day Paris , switching between the past and present which works really well . I loved the idea of the museum and the stories behind each object and it sort of feels a magical place , let’s tiy escape to the fictional world which we all need in winter! The story was a bit drawn out in places but didn’t deter me from reading more . If you like historical love stories I’d recommend this one .
