I thought I was going to enjoy this book more than I did. The history in the book is certainly fascinating and well written and I like how the story unfolds going backwards and forwards in time. I liked how the significance of various objects in the museum becomes clear as you get through the book. the problem I had was that I don't think Laure or Tomas were really likeable enough so I didn't feel really invested in the love story. I would have liked to have believed more in them and felt more bothered by whether he was using her or not. I thought Petr was really well written and quite a sinister character, I liked that we got to see what had happened to him 10 years later as well. There were quite a few typos in the book which hopefully will be corrected before publication.
