Loved it
The cover of The Museum of Broken Promises is the first thing that caught my eye, the various items on a startling white background is both haunting and intriguing. Secondly I adored the title, I'm a huge fan of museums but this particular museum sounded very unique and like no other!
The thing I love the most about historical fiction is how much it subtly educates us readers. Without realising it your absorbing simple details about their period the book is set in. I love learning about all manner of history so this book suited me perfectly.
It kept up a decent pace throughout and I loved it from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this book to other readers. I wasn't aware of the author previously but I'm intrigued to read more books by her now.
