I loved the idea of this plot and idea of this book from the moment I read the first impression. And it definitely didn’t fail me. It was beautiful. I would 100% recommend this book to anyone who loves a wonderful, well written and heartbreaking novel. The front cover of the novel is also beautiful. Looks lovely on a shelf. I enjoyed the writing style of Buchan, it was easy to read and I just didn’t want to put it down. I would definitely look out for more novels by here in the future. So clever, very thought provoking, fully recommend. I’ve passed on my copy to a friend and I hope they enjoy it as much as I did! If you see this book in a shop, buy it!!! It honestly won’t let you down. 10/10 read.
