It's a shame I really wanted to like this book. It started off ok with how she started the museum and how things were picked to go into it and what the story was behind the items and the 'broken promises they held within the items.
And Then the story goes back to a time when she lived in Prague as an aupair to a family. I found parts of the book I got completely lost and couldn't workout what was going on. Then it went back to the here and now.
I felt at times the book dragged and it didn't keep my attention I'm sorry to say. I really did have better hopes for this book.
It's a story of how things were in a different time and how people were expected to behave differently and how her life had changed in Paris today and she has lost the love of her life. Tomas.
