First off - the cover. I lobe the cover - it’s interesting, quirky and doesn’t give too much away of the initial plot.
The author - I’ve not read anything from this author before and to be honest, despite her popularity, I don’t think it’s something I would be looking at reading again.
The idea behind it was nice and the characters were instantly
Relatable and made me want to read on to find out more but it didn’t drag me in as much as I would have liked.
I feel perhaps that it would appeal to a slightly older reader than myself and perhaps that is why I couldn’t quite get into it as I would have hoped.
Altogether after reading it I would be happy to give it three stars but no more.
