I absolutely loved this compelling story. I was hooked straight away and couldn’t put the book down. Such a great concept to wrap the plot around. I was constantly intrigued as to what would happen next so much so I was sad when the story ended. I love the author’s writing style and the premise of the story and I found it quite unpredictable throughout. I’ve always been fascinated by the Cold War era and I felt like the accounts told in this book were accurate to this time period. I think it would make a great film so I hope a screenplay version is written. I am a big fan of the author, Elizabeth Buchan, and would also recommend her novel, The New Mrs Clifton. This is also a real page turner!
