I have to admit that this book is actually quite challenging to get into the start, but I promise - once you do, you will be very happy with the award. I must say the story is very beautifully written and I was pleasantly impressed how much research has been put into the background of the storyline. I truly think that this is a novel that needs to be read by everyone, despite your favorite genres, your liking of the cover etc, because it teaches us, the readers, to not take for granted the freedom that we have been given every day. Laure’s story reminds of just how lucky we are nowadays with the way we are allowed to live. It opened my eyes to a different perspective and I’m so grateful for that. Thanks! :)
