Still reading at the moment but becoming more engrossed as I read on. An unusual and unique idea for a novel that is multifaceted and many layered moving between two European cities and different times. The prose is eloquent and well written and slowly begins to captivate along with the different characters that are introduced. I especially enjoyed the backstories attached to the exhibits on display at the museum and finding out more about their history and what led them to being on show. The cold war element added another dimension to the novel and I am looking forward to discovering more about this period in time. I am slowly being drawn in to the world of 'The museum of broken promises'.
