the cover to me gives the impression of long hot sunny days by the beach, beach hut picnics and not a care in the world. But for a child with lots to explore and people to get to know this could be the start of an adventure. With world war II in the air and life starting to change a child could get carefree on the beach and with adults around who have led rich lives ...who knows what will happen.
