I found this opening couple of chapters to be so fascinating - quite dark as the young boy is obviously feeling scared and quite rightly as he remembers his life in Germany and what he has been through to get to America and unsure of the life he is about to live. Really well written and captures the emotion and uncertainty brilliantly and I can't wait to read more
