The storyline was interesting - a child adopted after the war from Germany to the USA. However, something about the story just didn't really appeal to me. I found it hard to concentrate on and I didn't feel like I really cared what would happen next. I didn't like the cover either, so maybe this book is just not at all designed for my age-range or interest bracket.
