I think this concept of elderly and young is really interesting and the style of the cover really adds to the understanding of the novel. I'm not sure whether it is my kind of book but I imagine it will be a nice quite light hearted read overall. The writing of the first impression does also give this kind of feel. I can imagine reading this book laid out on the grass in summer.
