This is the first book by the author that I have read and it’s not a type of book that I would usually pick up. However, I was pleasantly surprised and glad that I have read it.
I enjoyed the authors writing style; it allows the story to flow and for the reader to easily get stuck into it. I also enjoyed the way in which the author developed the characters; good back stories.
I wasn’t too sure about the pace of the book with some areas perhaps going into a bit too much detail. However, this didn’t detract away from my enjoyment of the book.
The artwork on the front of the book is very appealing and one which would stand out to me in the local bookshop.
In summary, a good read and I’ll look out for this author again.
