This is the first book written by Christine Dwyer Hickey, that I have tried to read.
Certainly the story starts as very moving and personal, the very intimate psychology of a boy affected by war, being so very disadvantage in a strange land, but as a good few other readers, I found it very hard to keep reading it.
This book is like some of those Hollywood movies, where the three hour story could have been put into an hour and a half exciting flick, but ends up being simply too long and boring.
It is very unlike me, but I don't believe I am going to finish reading this book, simply because I don't really care of how it ends and it's a pity, because I felt the start of it was very promising.
