A brilliant start to what appears to be a fascinating book. Monsters of many varieties following rules set down by Gods.. or not as in the case of some. I love this premise that even monsters have to bow to the Gods rules or pay the price. The main character Atia is complex and interesting and I can’t wait to see how her story pans out.
