It’s a young adult fantasy with monsters and vampires and gods and humans. It’s not really my thing, but it is actually quite funny and was more entertaining to read than I anticipated. Atia is 17, a Nefa, last of her client. She’s hiding from the gods who killed all the other Nefas. She preys on humans and feeds on their fears. Her sort-of-friend, Sapphir is a vampire and is much worse. Silas is a Herald of the Gods, 50 years into 100 years sentence for not being good enough for After or bad enough for Never. You get the picture you know whether you’re going to like this or not. I’d probably read it if it was put in front of me but I wouldn’t go out of my way
