A dark fantasy book. Did I say dark? Yes! right up my street!
A monstrous girl, Atia, who feeds on fear and was cursed for killing a human being, and a Herald stripped of all his human memories, who claims the souls of the dead called Silas become a unlikely team (who origionally hate each other due to the hate between monsters and gods) hell bent on bringing the gods down!
In their mission to restore both Silas’s memories and Atia’s powers they become to fall for each other. They could not be more different to each other but embracing these differences and Accepting them allows them to find strength in them and become closer. Many secrets and mysteries are uncovered on their journey. I loved the love story, especially as it is one of forbidden love.
I have never read a Greek mythology book before and I did struggle in parts but overall I really enjoyed my first book of this genre.
