I really enjoy books that are very descriptive! I like how in the opening pages of the story there is a lot of descriptions on how things appear, smell and are similar to, it really helps to envelop you into the story.
This one has me hooked from the prologue and into the first chapter. I like the premise of the story and the writing style.
You can tell that these characters are going to have unique personalities and I’m intrigued to how they will interlink with each other throughout the book.
Fantasy is one of my favourite genres and I am interested in seeing it be explored in a different way and how that will translate into the book and the characters.
I also think that cover art is important. I’m definitely one for if the book catches my attention because of its cover then I’m more likely to want to know more about it and ultimately purchase the book. The cover art for this one is stunning!
