This book had a bit of a slow start but overall I really enjoyed it. It’s got a great found family element with plenty of banter within the crew which gave me Six of Crows vibes. It had lots of twists and subplots going on which kept the book interesting and I liked how the issues were resolved by the end of the book. Atia and Silas’ romance was nice although not completely gripping. I was actually more invested in the side romance between Tristan and Cillian, and I wish we could have seen more from these two as they were so sweet together. I ended up rating this one 4 stars as my enjoyment definitely picked up towards the end. I recommend this book to any YA fantasy fans.
