This was an interesting book.
In all honesty there places that I skipped over, and there were places that I didn't understand.
But overall the story was good, the characters were great and the powers the two main characters had were great.
I really liked Atia, I thought she was amazing. I loved the relationship she had with Tristan.
This story is told from two points of views, Atia and Silas a herald.
And as the book goes on you witness the changes in their relationship. I also liked how Atia saw Tristan as a kinda younger brother and she's very protective of him.
The plot is like nothing I'd read before., and I've never read the author before which that will change.
The front cover Is very appealing and if I saw it in a shop I'd pick it up straight away.
I would put this in the YA fantasy category.
