I absolutely adore fiction that spans different centuries, binding the characters together as humans with their own unique past. Therefore, when I saw this story took place in 1628 and then 1989 I was very interested. The title of the book and the cover are extremey satisying, and it just makes you want to pick the book up on holiday near the water and read it, and it would look great on any shelf too! I'd love to get the chance to discover more about heartbreaking story of these chilren many generations apart and brought together in the author's heart and mind.
