Great characterisation, and the words flow as smoothly and constantly as a mountain torrent - you can't stop reading! You could not be indifferent to this book, it is so full of details that might seem random, but fall together and create an almost immersive experience. Some readers might prematurely dismiss it as an historical novel, but it is so much more.
