I love the book jacket, the colours are great and it totally fits the title. I have not read any Jess Kidd but the beginning of this book has whetted my appetite. The conditions on board are described in detail but in a very readable way. You begin to get to know the characters and the layers of society. I wonder if they are in for a shock as the journey continues. Looking forward to reading the rest.
