Historical fiction definitely isn't a genre I commonly reach for, so I didn't have high hopes for this. However, the front cover really drew me in - I think it's beautiful! The first read is very interesting, and well-written; I'm still not sure that I would pick this out of a shop, but I would be interested in reading more.
