The cover, to me, screams adventure and different worlds that follow as a historical fiction genre. From reading the passage, I believe that the story will unfold into a coming of age novel, following the journey of Mayken and Gil, between two completely separate time periods, causing two lives to be entwined together, with two completely different fates. A lyrical prose that follows what it is to experience heartache and challenges within life but finding your place in the world eventually.
