As a fan of historical fiction, I would love to read The Night Ship. I've enjoyed other novels that focus on swapping between two different time periods and it makes for an intriguing plot line. A sea adventure is always a great setting for excitement and peril. I'm new to Jess Kidd's work so would love to read this book. The cover design is striking; such beautiful colours. It would catch my eye in a bookstore.
