I'm not a great fan of historical novels and they really have to grab my attention in the first chapter to make me want to read further.
I am not sure that this is one of those. It seems to jump about a bit and I would like to understand the characters better. Perhaps it is one that I need to read a few more chapters to really start to enjoy it.
