I haven't heard of the event so I'm not familiar with the true story. It is based on historical fiction but unfortunately, I wasn’t gripped by the first extract.
The cover is nice and eye-catching but altogether it doesn't appeal enough to me to make me want to continue reading. I'm sure it will be very appealing to a lot of others.
