I read all the reviews about this book and I really thought I’d enjoy this one. I tried very hard to get into it but, found myself shutting it and putting it down. The story which apparently is true was a good one but, it wasn’t to my taste. I found the writing long-winded and confusing.
The names were tricky to get my head around and I read as much as I could before I gave up. I did go back to it again and started from the beginning but only got to 100 pages before I decided enough was enough.
I can’t read books that really don’t interest me from the first page I really can’t see the point of reading a book to the end if you are not even enjoying it because for me reading is all about enjoyment.
This book was not in my opinion breathtaking, magical or a work of magic as the back of the book suggests. I dislike writing negative reviews but in this case I had no choice.
