To be honest I have scored this book with 3 stars as it has left me with a unsure feeling in regards did I or did I jot enjoy it. I can’t put my finger on what it is that makes me have this feeling. I really got into the two main characters and couldn’t put it down at the beginning but once got half way through I really struggled to focus and see the comparisons. I really like the descriptions of the children and could visualise what they looked like but again my mental image of them disappeared when the focus was not as strong. Half way through I felt that the story was dragging and going on too long making it harder to focus. I loved the cover that my book had of the blue and gold stars and it made you feel that you were opening something very special like a gift and I kept rubbing my hands over it as it was so soothing to the touch. I will pass this book on to someone
