The opening of this book reads like a thriller or detective book and the book-within-a-book format is particularly innovative and enticing. I really enjoyed the duality of the protagonist/'Nothing Man' and the narrative of the survivor, side-by-side but also worlds apart. A great start to what I feel will be an excellent book. I had not heard of this author before but this small snippet has inspired me to look for more of her work already!
