My first impression of this book was that it is enthralling, it pulls you in with its descriptions, of feelings, of behaviours and it keeps you tight in its grip as it tells you about Jim and the way he walks, suggesting he likes to feel important and yet he also seems paranoid and distrusting, which is not really a surprise considering what (you think) he did. Then when it gets to the beginning of Eve's book, it reads like an actual biography and its great. In the first part of Eves book you learn she is shy and grew up alone and cut off from the world and yet she is brave, brave enough to tell a very important story. In just the first few pages there is already so much information that I just can't help but want to read more.
The cover doesn't seem to speak to any of the books events (so far) but it does catch your eye, I know I would pick it up off a shelf.
