I wasn't expecting to be pulled in to this - the cover is that of a standard crime novel that is easily overlooked on a supermarket shelf. As I started reading I felt the same for all of a paragraph...then The Nothing Man book is introduced. I could feel Jim's panic. From the glimpse, I imagine that the book will follow a pattern of Jim's life (and increasing claustrophobia, I assume) with intermittent sections of the book written by Eve, the only link to the murders he committed. The dedication of Eve's book to her sister and the list of victims' names is such a brilliant touch and makes it feel all the more real. So far I am impressed.
