The cover of this book didn’t grab me particularly, it’s pretty generic for a thriller...but when I started reading I was hooked. It’s a premise I’ve not seen in a book before, it’s been done (generally) badly in some films but the opening pages of The Nothing Man showed a lot of promise for this being a good example.
From what I learnt about Eve, she is a well developed and relatable character - I could completely imagine what it would’ve been like being swept off to a remote location following this trauma.
