Might just be the best first impression I've ever had

Wow! I think that might be the best first few chapters I think I have ever read!! I love psychological thrillers and books about serial killers so this seems to tick both boxes for me and I love the fact that we already know who did it. To take that approach is different to the norm and for that reason alone I'm really eager to read this book - hooked already!
