This book drew me in from the cover and I love the clever idea of a book within a book. I loved that at first we meet Jim who could just be a normal guy going about his daily work but hides this horrific secret of murder and sexual assaults that he committed years ago, his character had me asking so many questions. Why did he stop, was it because someone survived? How can he lead a normal life now? I think its great that we are introduced to the victim not as the usual person but as the author of the other book and it is portrayed as a book, this is very clever and original. I am dying to find out what happens as Jim continues to read the book and what might happen to the victim/author.
