I found that the opening was quite strange until I realised what the plot was about. The more I read the more I wanted to read and was disappointed when the extract came to the end.
it will certainly be a book I will look out for to either buy or borrow from the library, probably the latter as I have never read any of the authors books before and I don't usually like to buy new authors until I have read at least one of their books. This is because of past experiences where the start of the book has been good and then it has meandered.
