This book is not the same as other murder thrillers because, in most of this sort of story , the killer has not usually been identified and often they do not have a name or any identity until the end of the book where finding the killer is the conclusion to the story. However this story is different because we know who the killer is right from the start. We know his name, Jim, his place of work and we also know that he is middle aged, married with a daughter. The author also lets us know that he worked for the police force at the time of the murders, which makes the whole story even more mysterious.
