Jim Doyle is patrolling the supermarket, keeping an eye on all the goings on and making sure that no one’s up to no good. He spots a woman carrying a book under her arm and he is frozen on the spot. He sees his name on the book - not his real name of course, but the name he is known by ’The Nothing Man’. Eventually Jim runs to find a copy of this book for himself to make sure it’s not what he thinks it is…. but it is. Someone has written a book about him. Twenty years ago, The Nothing Man attacked and murdered the Black family in the middle of the night leaving one survivor, Eve, who is now telling her story. Jim’s in trouble, he needs to read this book to find out what she knows. Will his secret identity be discovered?

Pardon my language but bloody hell I loved this! Such a unique twist on a thriller novel! As some of you may know, I’m slightly obsessed with true crime stories and enjoy reading true crime books, and this was a true crime book, within a fiction book - if that even makes sense? It was honestly two books in one and it really works! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who’s into thrillers because this was absolute genius from start to finish.
