Wow ! What really intrigues me about this book is the fact that it's quite different to the crime books I usually read. It'll be interesting to see the perspective of the antagonist and to see if he gets caught and how he deals with the revelations of the book as he becomes more paranoid.
However, for me the pages entailing Eve's book were a bit long, I felt like the author could've kept it a bit shorter. Despite this Jim's reaction and annoyance really made it more suspenseful as it adds this subtlety of threat and danger. What I really want to explore within the novel is Jim's thoughts as he's clearly a serial killer with psychopathic issues. It'll also be interesting to see whether or not anyone else will discover who he really is now the book is out.
Overall, very good first chapters and I'd be delighted to read on and discover the fate of both Jim and Eve!
